The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go. —Dr. Seuss
Cypress Methodist Church is joining the movement to share books, build community, inspire readers, and expand book access for all. Stay tuned for the opening of our Little Free Library. This is inspired by the Little Free Library program “take a book, share a book.” Little Free Libraries are hand-built boxes functioning as educational and outreach tools serving as a book exchange. Anyone visiting the Little Free Library may take a book or bring a book to share. We can’t wait to bring the community together and share the joy of reading.
Now accepting donations of books. Accepted book donations include children and teen books, novels, devotionals, and large print books! Please deliver your books to the church office during the week Monday through Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 PM or drop off books at The Wesley Desk on Sunday mornings.
The Little Free Library mission is a non-profit organization that inspires a love of reading, builds community and sparks creativity by fostering neighborhood book exchanges around the world. Each year, nearly 10 million books are shared in Little Free Libraries. To learn more, visit https://littlefreelibrary.org/.
