Many years ago, Cypress Methodist Church started selling pumpkins on the front lawn to raise funds for missions. What began as a simple fundraiser has grown into a beloved community tradition. Today, the Pumpkin Patch is more than just rows of pumpkins—it’s a place filled with activities, friendly faces, events, homemade breads and goodies, and the warmth of community.

Over time, Cypress MC has become known as the “pumpkin church,” with proceeds continuing to support both local missions and community events. The Patch isn’t just about pumpkins—it’s about connection. Families and friends are invited to bring a picnic, share a meal, and make lasting memories together in the Patch.
