The Senior Adult Travel Group at Cypress UMC is a group of eager travelers that enjoy new sights and experiences and the fellowship of our traveling friends.  We go on everything from day trips using Harris County buses, longer motorcoach trips all over the U.S., ocean and river cruises, and fun and exciting destinations of all kinds.   

Come join us.  Everyone is welcome and we look forward to making new friends as we travel together.

Tuesday, June 25, 2024- Brookwood Community Tour & Lunch

We will be going on a tour of the Brookwood Community and lunch at the Café at Brookwood.

Brookwood provides meaning and purpose in the lives of adults with disabilities. In addition to its educational and enterprise programs, Brookwood provides a safe and nurturing home environment with proper nutrition, plenty of activity, and productive challenges. You are in for a treat if you have never visited the Brookwood Community. You will also have time to shop in their gift shop.

The price of this trip is $26 per person. I do need everyone to pay in advance and make their menu choices. I need to turn these into Brookwood two weeks before we leave. The bus will leave the back paring lot of CMC at 8:30 a.m.

Tuesday, July 9, 2024 – Astros Baseball Game

The county bus will take us to Minute Maid Park to watch the Houston Astros play the Maimi Marlins.

We will leave the front parking lot of CMC at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday night is dollar dog night at the ballpark. The cost is $48.00 per person which includes a $15.00 food voucher at any of the concessions in the park.
